IT’S ALL ABOUT HOUSEMUSIC –
IT’S A SPIRITUAL THING!

This statement out of the former House Classic fits perfectly to Yves Murasca and his attitude towards Housemusic. One thing is for sure: he lives Housemusic; his whole life is about the floating and uplifting sound between 120 and 130 bpm; ever since he was infected by the House-Virus on his first stay on the balearic island Ibiza at the age of 17.

In the past years his djing not only led him to Spain and Italy, but he also made his way into the hippest locations in his hometown munich; not mentioning the uncountable guest appearences in many different in-locations or on famous festivals like Nature One throughout the german-speaking territory.

Besides his djing he also became a successful and internationally respected producer: his first single "Yves Murasca feat. Kyra - Saxophobic Satisfaction" that he had worked out together with his colleague BK Duke was released in June 2007 on Germany's top-label Milk & Sugar Recordings and immediately hit bull's eye. After a short time it was played by the "Who Is Who" of the house scene from Germany and Switzerland, over England to Spain, Russia, Asia and the United States. Renowned artists like Martin Solveig, Stonebridge, Milk & Sugar, Mr. Mike, Matt Caseli (Pacha Ibiza), Warren Clarke or Jonathan Ulysses (Space Ibiza) just to mention a few used the track in their sets and made it a certain floorfiller in numerous clubs all over the world.

In the meantime it is part of various cd-compilations (e.g. Kontor "Balearic Summer House", Cassagrande "The Best Annual 2007", Milk & Sugar "Summer Sessions 2007", Ayia Napa " Laissez Faire Lounge 2" just to name a few) and delights clubbers worldwide with it's catchy sax-line as much as with its unique warm balearic flavour. Furthermore it made Yves become an official Milk & Sugar Recordings Inhouse-artist. (www.milkandsugar.de)

Followed by this unexpected enormous success it just was a matter of time until also his remix skills were about to be demanded by famous producer colleagues: remix work for Barbara Tucker, Stereo Mutants (Defected - UK), for hits like "Bel Amour" or Lee Cabrera‘s "Shake It" as well as his last work for Milk & Sugar's current hit "Stay Around" just became daily business and make Yves constantly continuing his way to the top.

Next to all these creative activities in music he is also responsible for the Label management of Milk & Sugar Recordings & Rotor Recordings since a few months. As if this wasn‘t enough he additionally even runs his own Independent Label called Diamondhouse Records together with his friend and production partner BK Duke, which just has been encouraged through its newly founded inhouse booking agency "Diamondhouse Bookings". Already after a short time it is featuring a striking pool of renowned artists: Superfunk (France), Stereo Mutants (Defected, UK), Alfred Azzetto, Italy) or Jeremy Sylvester (Azuli - Houseworks, UK) are only some of the extensive dj roster.

Because of his numerous stays on the balearic island Ibiza Yves Murasca‘s music style clearly contains strong influences of the atmospheric Ibiza house sound. He himself describes his style as a diverse mixture of Soulful-, Pumpin‘-, Deep-, Tech-/Tribal- and melodic Electro-House tunes. Though tracks with dominant percussions and warm melodies are his favourites, he tries not to commit himself to one particular style of housemusic. "I don‘t want to restrict myself in any way, I need variety concerning each part of my life!"
